You don’t have to suffer with anxiety

I absolutely love what I do. Why? Because of this. I have clients who come to see me who have suffered with long term anxiety, some for years, well over ten years or more. Within a matter of sessions, symptoms will shift profoundly.

Anxiety is an area that I specialise in. Clients can suffer with any physical symptoms such as panic attacks, not wanting to go in spaces were there are lots of people, and there can be a number of debilitating symptoms which can have huge negative impacts on someones life.

Within a short space of sessions, I see the symptoms of anxiety within clients who have suffered with this on a long term basis completely dissipate and dissolve. This is to the point where they feel like a different person. Back to their old selves prior to suffering with this issue that has been keeping them stuck for years. How rewarding is that!

I saw a new client recently who had seen such dramatic shifts in another client who I had worked with whom she knew through a friend of hers. So she wanted to come and work with me herself.

Within a short space of time, we were able to start releasing some of those old emotions and patterns that had been keeping her completely stuck. So much shifted and with that a massive amount of relief was experienced from my client.

I often liken anxiety to carrying a load of old bags around. When you come back off holiday and you are waiting at the luggage carousel for your suitcases, you don’t get all the suitcases off the carousel and make the decision to carry them all round on your shoulders for the foreseeable future do you? However, we do this with anxiety, worry, stress and other related behaviours. We are literally carrying round a load of old stuff that we don’t need. And guess what? – That is going to become uncomfortable and painful for a years and years!

Trust me, you don’t need to suffer

Who would make the decision to continue to carry on holding to all this old behaviours or patterns? What is the value to you if you make the decision to let it go? It may feel a struggle on your own, but I can help. You can’t put a price or a value on removing anxiety for good. You simply don’t need it any more.

If you want to know any more about how with my help, you can remove anxiety and all those awful symptoms related to anxiety once and for all, drop me a message, we can set up a free initial chat.

The most common thing most of my clients say is this “I wish I had come to see you sooner”

How can hypnotherapy help me?

[et_pb_section bb_built=”1″][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.0.61″ background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” border_style=”solid”]

Have you ever thought about going to see a hypnotherapist, but wondered if it would help? Have you heard of an amazing report from someone you know who went to see a hypnotherapist, so thought about giving it a try? Are there tons of myths about hypnotherapy that make you feel unsure? Do you have any anxieties about booking in to see a hypnotherapist? Do you wonder how something like hypnotherapy can help with a big issue that has been part of your life for too long?

These are some of the areas I want to help you clarify and I will dispel some myths too. By the time you have finished reading this article, you will have a better understanding of hypnotherapy and how it can help you.

First and foremost, we are in hypnosis for around 85% of the day. It is a simply a day dreamy state. So imagine some of the following – driving along the motorway, watching tv, listening to a friend on the telephone, scrolling through facebook. Your mind is kind of elsewhere, right? Drifting off all over the place. Sound familiar? Or if I asked you to think of a memory of the past, i.e. what was the colour of your first car, or what was the name of your first pet? You aren’t consciously thinking of these things the whole time, however, when asked to recall a past event or memory, you will trawl through your mind (the subconscious part) to access that memory.

The word hypnosis simply means a relaxed state whereby you go in and out of your internal world, accessing it the whole time throughout the day. Your internal world (your mind) and the external world (everything outside of you) co-exist.

Lets have a quick look at the mind. The mind is made of two parts. The conscious mind (around 5%) and the subconscious mind (95%).

It is very hard to make lasting changes at a conscious level. Don’t get me wrong, we can make change consciously. However, there has to be a firm intention and tons of energy behind it. Think of bad habits for example. Why do so many persist in the same bad habits for years on end, knowing deep down its no good for them?

Change can process at a much quicker rate if we actually get past the conscious mind and get into the subconscious mind. Hypnosis words with this part of the mind. The mind is extremely powerful and much of time time it gets underused. However, the other difficulty is, we don’t like change and we often resist change. It’s easier to keep ourselves stuck in the same old habits or routine, keeping us in the past if you will.

You might actually say, I love change, change happens all the time, and I am adaptable to new challenges and changes. This is however just the conscious stuff, which only represent 5% of who were are and incidentally where will-power exists.

If everything in your life here and now is perfect and you are completely content, I am super duper happy for you. However, is there something you do want to change, big or small? Wish you were slimmer and trim? Want to be in an exciting job that fulfils all your needs? Want to feel calm and relaxed and get out of the familiar feelings of stress or anxiety? Want to be financially abundant or attract a great relationship?

If you identify with any of the above or something similar, why do we find it so hard to achieve these changes we so desire, and end up leading a life of quiet desperation?

We form most of our core beliefs from a young age. Even before our conscious mind has had chance to develop yet. Some beliefs are standard and serve us well. However some keep us stuck. You may had heard the term ‘limiting beliefs’. This is what they are. Then when our conscious mind develops from around the age of 6, these beliefs stay there, nice and cosy. Then they become familiar to who we are. Then as we get older and into adulthood, we search for evidence to support these beliefs. (By the way, this is all done at a subconscious level, so we are not consciously aware we are doing it the majority of the time). Then we repeat similar patterns over and over. Also, certain events can often trigger these old beliefs too.

So how can hypnotherapy work? I help clients, in a really relaxed way get into the old subconscious beliefs, to help shift the old programmes and patterns that have been hanging around. It’s like reprogramming the mind. A modern neurological term for this would be neuroplasticity. The mind is adaptable, it’s not fixed. However, we tend to hold onto an old patten from the past because its easier to repeat the same old familiar stuff.

It’s really easy and effective, and quick too! Fears and phobias are resolved in 3-4 sessions, confidence, self esteem and public speaking similar, anxiety, stress and depression a little longer, depending on what we want to work on. Either way, its relaxed and informal, and you do the work along with me guiding you in the right direction. Clients report time and time again how much they enjoy sessions and how happy they are with the benefits in such a short space of time, when they had spent a life time struggling prior to sessions.

So many clients often say the same thing – the only regret they had was not coming to see me much sooner and how totally different they feel as a result.

Can anxiety cause you to feel depressed?

How do you feel when you get anxious? Do you feel anxiety somewhere in your body? Do you experience similar thoughts and feelings? Is it a familiar pattern? Would you like to get off this cycle and instead feel calm relaxed and in control? If you resonate with any of this and you are reading this article because you suffer with anxiety or any of the related feelings, then read on.

What is anxiety?

Anxiety is the fear or apprehension of a real or perceived threat. It is a state of worry or panic. Physiological and physical symptoms are experienced. Anxiety is completely normal and is commonplace in a number of situations, for example an exam, a driving test or a job interview. However, too much anxiety can cause distress and can be highly debilitating.

Some people may have an identifiable cause for anxiety for example the loss of a loved one, a traumatic incident, or a significant life event such as moving house or getting divorced. Others don’t have an identifiable cause and it can be caused by a number of issues including post traumatic stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, or social phobias. The symptoms will most likely be very similar. The physiological feelings that can be experienced include increased heart rate, dizziness, feeling sick, difficulty breathing.

Prolonged periods of anxiety can be debilitating. When it interferes with daily life it can impact in a number of ways. Common forms of anxiety come in the form of anxiety disorders or panic attacks. They can come on and be triggered out of nowhere. Leaving you feeling out of control, worried, upset, low or disorientated.

It can also cause feelings of constant worry and apprehension. This can then become cyclical in nature, leading to further feelings of frustration and helplessness.

How does anxiety manifest?

When we are in a constant state of stress whereby we are triggering the fight or flight response, this is when anxiety can occur. Or should I say signs and symptoms of anxiety. Our bodies can deal with a certain amount of stress and of course some stress is good for us. However if we are on constant stress alert, the body is flooded with stress hormones, that will then put us into a state of distress. The body literally cannot cope, so we then form feelings of anxiety which then lead to the physiological symptoms I referred to earlier.

So does anxiety cause you to feel depressed?

Anxiety and depression can often go hand in hand. However the two are not the same, as they are two different disorders. One can often lead to feelings of the other and visa versa. Often feelings of anxiety can lead to feeling low, helpless or upset. So, anxiety can lead to the development of depression and related symptoms.

Don’t continue to suffer

What I would say, is look to seek support or help now. There are many different types of support packages out there to help. You don’t need to suffer alone. There are ways you can completely eradicate the symptoms of anxiety for good.

I have been helping suffers of anxiety for a number of years. This is an area I specialise in. I help you to remove anxiety quickly and simply from your life, for good. I also teach a simple self help tool that allows you to instantly get off the hormones of stress, by immediately calming down the stress response, or the fight or flight. This also removes all those old anxiety behaviours. This is something that you can use in any situation, to enable you to immediately feel calm, secure an in control.

Imagine a life where you no longer suffered with any feelings of anxiety? How free you would feel as a result and how different your life would be!

On the other hand, imagine what the costs would be if you continue to live a life that is ruled by anxiety and you’re feeling totally out of control as a result? How would this debilitate you even further, and what would the costs be to you and others?
I can help. I can talk through some simple strategies that you can use to enable you to move forward. You don’t need to suffer alone for a moment longer.

Holding onto something that is ruining your life?

How does it feel to hang onto something thats severely impacting on your life in a number of ways?

Do you actually need to hold onto it? How free would you feel if that rubbish wasn’t handing around in your life anymore? Is there a reason you’re still holding onto it? Is it due to fear? – fear of change, or facing up to whatever it is you are holding on to and letting go of it for good? Are you worried that it will be an uphill struggle to get rid of it?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions, or can resonate, I can help.

Whether it’s a phobia, or any type of anxiety, I am telling you now, with certainty, you can release this for good. In a much shorter time then you might think.

How does this work?

You will feel very relaxed and at ease with my informal style. I will help you completely eradicate whatever you need. You are provided with a simple understanding of where this came from (I don’t regurgitate the past) You will feel empowered to understand you can release this old stuff, usually within a very speedy timescale. You will learn practical tools and techniques that you can use yourself and apply wherever needed.

And it isn’t all doom and gloom. Clients regularly report that sessions are super relaxed, friendly and informative. Everything we do is to benefit you. This is to enable and support big life changes.

It is my aim to ensure you completely remove what you need to in the most efficient way possible. My sessions are for you and I tailor them around your needs.

I continue to be overwhelmed by the results I see with clients and how quickly they can change their lives. I worked with a lovely lady recently who had a life long fear of the dentist. She could go nowhere near a dentist given the severity of her fear. Even the mere thought of it filled her with dread. This was having a huge impact on her health as a result.

See what she had to say –

“After almost 30 years of allowing fear to prevent me from visiting the dentist I could no longer take the pain. A friend suggested I visit Janine for some hypnotherapy. It was truly one of the best decisions of my life. After several sessions I began to understand myself and how the mind works. Janine supplied me with the tools I need to prevent fear from overcoming so many things in my life and I will always be truly thankful (and so are my family). I am most proud to say that just last week I sat calmly in a wonderful dentist’s chair and allowed her to put a needle into my gums. Never would I thought that to be possible. I am stronger and more unpowered through the amazing work of Janine and would recommend her to anybody who needs help”

Gail, Manchester.

Is there anything in your life that you need to change? Is it keeping you completely stuck? Is it having a negative impact on your life enjoyment? Is is impacting on your relationships? Are you anxious about the process? Don’t be. In my experience, clients I work with on similar issues remove what they need within an average of 3-5 sessions.

Don’t hesitate to get in contact for an informal chat. Or contact me on the form below. I can’t wait to help you change your life.
